So I am surrounded by a crowd of middle-aged women who are screaming as they watch two Russians dance on ice skates to “Shake Ya Tailfeather,” when I hear the beer-guzzling man next to me say to his buddy, “I bet this place doesn’t hold as much as the Vikings’ stadium.”  Next, my mother turns to me and says, “I feel sorry for people who aren’t us.”

I love it when life gives me moments like that.
