It’s five thirty p.m. right now, and I just woke up from a two hour nap. That’s because I didn’t go to bed until 5:30 a.m. I was writing a nine page paper on The Princess Bride from about 11 o’clock on. Why didn’t I start it earlier, you ask? Oh, but I did…I worked on it for several hours on Saturday, actually, and had already completed all of the research before this weekend. I wanted to spend Sunday DAY writing, but I had to work for the theater. A Celtic Christmas by Cherish the Ladies. I ran the lights — and was thanked by the lead singer during both performances; and during both thank yous, she called me Karen — and was at the theater from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Then I did an hour of sports work. Then I wrote my paper. Longest day in the history of ever. And the closest I’ve ever come to pulling an all nighter.
Anyway, the paper’s done and in. My theo test went off without a hitch, though I almost fell asleep partway through the post-test discussion. And then I napped — now I get to start studying/preparing for my English presentation tomorrow. The goal is to be in bed before three a.m. Wish me luck.
