So, I’m reading “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” series, right, and I’m maybe 70 pages from finished. These books are amazing, hilarious, and intelligent. However, my brain hurts. So I decided to take a break. During this break, which handily took place while I was at work, I researched the author Douglas Adams and the books and guess what I found? There’s a movie, and I don’t mean the 1980s British thing, although that would be pretty great to see too. I mean there’s a movie being made right now, as we speak, or type as it were, based on “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.” It’s supposed to come out in 2005. I watched the teaser already. And I am happy. Sigh. Now I have a reason to live after I finish reading “Mostly Harmless.”
I can’t, however, read the book tonight because I will be packing, unless someone takes pity on me and offers a worthy distraction, such as a phone call. Or corn. Distractions in the form of sweet corn are also welcome.
I also, and as psyched about next week. I predict all the same except twice the amount of oversleeping than last year. And congrats on the news of the movie. Cheers!
I was going to call you…as a packing “break” but I fell asleep….and have since woken up…but I’m pretty sure you are probably asleep by now as well….tomorrow.
